I think the step-parent analogy fails in that the parent did not 'make' the step-parent. It would be more like the parent built a robot and programmed it to torture the children.

Yeah, that would be a more accurate, except the myth doesn't say that god specifically programmed the devil to attack us, but that the devil chose to rebel. Still total bullshit. I suppose if you built a robot and it reprogrammed itself to torture children, and you didn't deactivate it or reprogram it. Good observation.

Jesus told we can know the truth and that gods word is truth. so forget all movies on youtube thy will only confuse you with 1000 wrong ideers. In our father we ask if god`s will may be done in heaven as on earth, satan and al his demons are thrown out of heaven and thy know there time is short trying to dicive all who is righteous. i Hope you understand than man and satan are ruling now, not god. So it must be proof that man can not rule himself and that we need god as oure king. and after 1000 years Jesus wil give his father`s kingdom back. @WineisyourFriend Angels have a free will, satan is nothing more than a angel who rebeld, we Know that he took a third of all angels behind him we call demons. He doubted gods right to rule as sovereign. He told Eva she could be as god knowing good and bad. So man came to rule himself. My question is.... Why should we have to sit here and wonder about these things just to be saved? People spend their whole lives analyzing the Bible. Is that what we need to do to be saved? What about people that cant read, like people in the middle ages that were lied to by the church. My point is, God is basing our salvation on intelligence rather than faith or good will.
