At 1pm today, Tuesday 13 April, Our Lady's Choral Society with conductor Proinnsías Ó Duinn sang excerpts from Handel's Messiah on Fishamble Street, Old City Temple Bar, Dublin 2 - the original site where Messiah received its world premiere in 1742.

There is a tradition where the crowd are asked to join in and put their hands up every time the Hallelujah is sang - that's why you're seeing this!

This is the Hallelujah Chorus. Music is by the National Sinfonia.
