Since this is the week of the anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster, I decided to upload this documentary about one of the Busby Babes who tragically lost his life, the Irish international Liam 'Billy' Whelan.
Whelan made 98 appearances for United and scored 52 goals. This documentary features accounts of his life from his family and features some archive footage of his playing career. A fascinating documentary for any Man United or Ireland fans, and I would say for football fans in general. Enjoy.
This part deals with what Whelan told his family about his experiences at United, his thoughts on Bobby Charlton and the bridge that Whelan crossed going to school which has since been named in his honour.
