They were always odd, good though. Im glad someone else has noticed the Jazz strain going through this lot as well as Flux and others, Crass especially were full of it yet most people scoff if you even suggest it, "punk Jazz? fuck off" is the usual reaction. Does being able to hear the Jazz formations in punk songs make us both muso bores? Or are we jnot narrow minded enough?
These were some of their groups on D.C.L. Recordings label and also the Crass Label: The Babymen, The Cravats, The DCL Locomotive, The Very Things. DCL was an anachronym of Dada Cravat Locomotive...
@dortyhoor This was their only single on the Crass label. They always were and still are this style.

@dortyhoor - They didn't really change style, they started strange and carried on that way! "Jazz punk" probably covers their whole output.
