Never seen the point in modifying mini engines to this degree. My 1979 1000 feels like youre doing a 60 when you're doing 30! Original A-Series for the win, they managed to win the monte carlo with a standard engine so this really is slightly pointless, i love the look, just not the power!

anyone know where this mini is now? I believe it was built by Rover for the Frankfurt motor show.

@pennypacker93 that's not a VTEC honda engine, that's a 16V head on a A-series block, there's a few companies doing it, this one is a Jack Knight head, they'r similar to the KAD heads, there's too 16v valve conversions using BMW motorcycle heads. so that's not "just" an engine conversion.
