I'm gonna be honest and say I think you're taking it way too personally, I think when people say it they mean that it it unusual for a girl of your ethnicity to have that texture of hair, therefore they know it's a weave and are complimenting you on the fact that it suits you and looks nice. At the end of the day, it is not meant it in an offensive way and people are trying to compliment you. Don't get me wrong this is nothing, I love your videos and I think you are a brilliant makeup artist :)

There are so many things out there to help you deal with your natural hair. It's sad to hear you say it's unmanageable without chemicals. Do you know how bad relaxers are? Just like you say to research about lace wigs, why don't you research about how to look after afro hair?

@middy444 don't see why you seem bothered by how I choose to where MY own hair, or anyone elses. lol just do you boo :) there are so many styles and ways to manage hair, to each its own. You know, sometimes I see natural women looking down on the weave warriors lol but I never hear ladies who wear extensions talking about why other women choose to go natural....at the end of the day....IT'S JUST HAIR!!!!!!!

I died laughing when you said "I like your weave!!" it's irritating because I have a Monica/Rihanna haircut...and I love hair....BIG hair!! It is by choice, and that should not matter. I think that it is a backhand compliment and you can keep that crap to yourself!!

I am extremely glad this video has been made! I deal w/ ignorant people I work w/ that are extremely inquisitive & borderline rude & its a shame they dont even realize it! People need to stop & think before they speak. Some woman wear weaves & wigs for fashion & others wear it because they have to (Cancer, stress, ect) So to those who think "Its not a big deal!" Think if this person has an illness do you really think they want to partake in a conversation about what they have on their head!
