You all watched and witnessed Mikey Arroyo. This is a rare situation where the son of our President Gloria Arroyo reveals the ways and secrets on how public officials can manipulate and steal millions of public money.

Our government officials have forgotten that these money are intended to build schools, hospitals, fund scholarships for deserving students, health care, housing for thousands of families, fight poverty, food for the children...etc They have taken the rights of the poor people to live and survive.

Their human dignity lost as we watch videos on Youtube of children and families eating garbage gathered from dump sites and restaurant garbage bins. Each day is a struggle to survive.

We believe that these videos are helpful. There will be a long list of candidates in this coming 2010 elections.

Some will aim to get their power back so they can continue to live their lavish and wasteful lifestyles at our expense. We must not let this happen again.

Pampanga Rep. and presidential son Juan Miguel "Mikey" Arroyo said Tuesday that a large portion of his wealth came from generous wedding and campaign donors.

Mikey, the eldest son of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and First Gentleman Jose Miguel "Mike" Arroyo, made the revelation in an interview over GMA7s Unang Hirit with hosts Arnold Clavio and Winnie Monsod about where his wealth came from.

His assets, which supposedly include a $1.32 million (P63.7-million) residential house in the United States, were made public in a report of Vera Files, which said Mikey Arroyo failed to mention the property in his 2007 and 2008 Statement of Assets and Liabilities and Networth (SALNs). The Vera Files report said the house is located at 1655 Beach Park Blvd in Foster City in San Mateo County, California.

Mikeys wealth reportedly ballooned from the time he got married to wife Angela in June 2002 and became Pampanga vice governor in 2001-04. He was elected congressman for Pampangas 2nd district in 2004 and got re-elected in 2007.

Mikey on Tuesday claimed to have declared all of his properties in his SALN, contrary to the Vera Files report.

Sa aking opinion sa pinas basta ikaw ay politician or businessman at may connection sa gobierno siguradong yayaman ka. Kaya nga maraming pumapasok sa politica para mabigyan ng protection ang kanilang mga negosyo at dadami pa ang negosyo nila. Gaya ng mga Pres.,Senators hanggang sa Barangay officials. I agree that Mikey Arroyo has a bigger diva complex than Imelda Marcos. 2 Gloria Arroyo and the Ampatuans are the new face of evil. Gloria Arroyo and the Ampatuans are more brazen and have commited more human rights vilations than Marcos ever did. Now the RP has more human rights violations than China, North Korea, Rwanda, Somalia, Honduras, Mexico, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan combined.
