Movie grossed total of $63M with a production budget of $35M but only did $15M in the US box office. What does that tell you? IMO I think Americans don't like to see the ugly truth or US soldiers getting their butts kicked by the enemy. I think it did great abroad cuz of the 3 box-office stars aside from the war story that made it very interesting.
I thought the movie was kinda like Operation Anaconda in a small way. Al-Qaeda ambushed NATO soldiers with 15 KIA and 82 WIA

I'm in the United States Air Force, I set up networks for bare bases and maintain them on operational bases. For the most part, my job is to set up comms so that soldiers in the field can talk home to their families.

At this point what ever you say makes you ignorant because what I said was fact, and it doesn't even help your case that you only challenged the other sources because they too are highly reliable.

This is one of the greatest movies ever made. My favorite.
Shows how nobody really cares about anybody, and delivers one amazingly strong question:

This movie is a giant speech, my father is a former marine and it made him cry, the dialogue is very deep, and it if you reflect what they are saying to lets say the media in the U.S and the politicians here it kind of brings up a lot of questoins.
This is not an action movie at all so dont say "worse war film" . I liked it and it was better then what i expected it to me.
But hey thats me.
