This is a demo of Ken-Tool's new IronMan ergonomic wheel lifting bar used on a 11R22.5 truck tire. It is a simple, inexpensive and easy to use tool that may substantially reduce the risk of back strain and injury. Use it to easily lift heavy duty and commercial truck tires with either end of the tool. The spoon end is used to lift the wheel when the hub side is down by inserting the spoon into a wheel slot. When the hub side is up insert the knob end of the IronMan into any lug. Ken-Tool part number 39450. Model number T950. 7/8"-dia steel, 58" nominal length, 10#.

  • Have tire guys really gotten this lazy?

  • @2040Rumely

Not really. It's just that their bosses are concerned about their employee's health and are willing to spend a few bucks to help keep the employees from injuring their backs!

  • @KenToolVideoMedia It's more like OSHA (or whatever your country has for mandated workplace safety) and insurance companies are mandating safer practices like having to use a tool to lift a tire instead of one's back.

  • what's wrong with using a bead axe

  • Naw....it's not the tool. It's her who gets the job done :)

  • 2 things that don't go, any driver loitering in a shop and using your back to lift

  • that leverage is a motherf'er! Please tell me your not making money off of this "tool"

  • using your back! Til you blow your back out. Then what?

  • @KenToolVideoMedia

I've been busting tires for 5 years, and I can't see my company buying this thing for me or anybody else...

If you're doing a set of 8 drives and the O/O is standing behind you, needing to get back on the road, you just pick 'em up and put 'em down...using your back!
