This is the finished version.

There is a section that i am not happy with. The accordion playing Siamese twin at the start of the motel/music school section. This would have been really nice as a proper puppet.

Please feel free to leave feedback.

  • Suzie Lou is just the cutest little thing... how did you make her? (the clown was scary..!)

  • Thanks for the kind words.

Suzie was made from wire and polymorph to make the armature. Her head was made from sculpey ultra light for the inner section and normal sculpey for the outer head.

Yeah the clown did his job.

    Amazing!

  • Very nice, did you use a program like Dragon Stop Motion to shoot it?

What frame rate, did you shoot on 1's or 2's?

I'm an animation student also, take a look at my work if you want...

  • I LOVE this!!!! So quirky... love the design of the building, the cardboard for the roof, the lighting.... awesome!!!!

  • well done you guys. thats really cool :)

  • I see what you mean about the accordion player, but I actually think the 2D is a quirky aspect. Rather reminds me of the old Paddington series. It is a great li'l stop mo job you guys (who actually contributed a lot) did for the final. :)

  • Cooool.

The best bit is when she jerks back in shock from the paper! Kudos to whoever did that bit! And the zombie ain't half bad too.

The sound is really good too. Good goooooooood

  • Have just got into stop animation.. and want to make some characters, Suzie has inspired me!

Look forward to seeing more of your work.. :)
