Why don't you learn Spanish? Being a Puerto Rican, I am U.S. citizen by birth and my native language is Spanish and not English. You can tell Spanish-speakers to learn English the day the United States has to learn ours. Spanish should be a co-official language with English. It's not fair that Puerto Rico has to when we are Latinos!

Just because ur hispanic dosnt mean you have right to bash against the latin people. It seems to me that you think that you are the "elite" and very verbose. You also speak of history in the united states, the united states was designed to be a melting pott of different cultures and beliefs, this is basically the foundation in what the united states stands on. so i respect your opinion but dont agree with it. i hope you try to find a different view on it.

it's about how every person has a fundamental right to choose his/her own language...and it's pretty much apart of the human right?

you have no idea how many people are being discriminated right now because of the language issue.. and yeah u r right...u r not racism, but linguism..

please do more studies if u re going to talk about such issue...at least talk with some reasons

Amen brother! I totally agree with this. I know that if I were to go to another country I would be expected to know their language. I would try to learn it. No tell them to learn our language. Bottom line if you're going to come to a country that is predominantly English you should learn to speak English.
