He fought his way into the heart of their capital and was about to use their ultimate superweapon, perhaps more powerful than Sin. Shuyin had won (as much as there could be a winner there), he just stopped when Lenne begged him to. His anger then sustained him for a thousand years, dead and he overwhelmed and killed the best soldiers alive, AS A SPIRIT before escaping and re-activating the weapon. Guy isn't far off badass...

@zumosmorph he actually did win against the army... its just there was a patrol squad who came when he had perhaps no strength.
