Why do you cough so much?, allergies?.

I cough a lot, but always spit white clear plhegm and it gets worst everytime I smoke.

My Doc game me Symbicort to use one puff in the morning and one at night.

For emergency, that is, when out of the blue my whole upper lung goes into spasm (ussually when I breath in dust like in roach dust) and simply I can't breath in "or out", Albuterol (Proventil) allows me to breath again.

I coughed because I had pulmonary fibrosis.

It is never too late to quit smoking. Once you quit your lungs start to repair themselves. Based on what I have read, within 6 years much of the damage will be repaired.

I'm sorry but I don't have any magic formulas for how to quit smoking. To quit drinking I used the AA approach - don't try to stop forever, just stop from having one drink - the next one.

Since smoking is a physical addiction, once you get through a few days it will get easier.

My tonsils have been swollen since December its now June. I have tonsillitis. And they gave me a prescription for Prednisone 10 MG. I have to take 6 a day for 2 days. Then 4 a day for 2 days, and 2 a day for 2 days. I started today and I took a quick nap and i thought i pissed in the bed, but it was sweat. My shirt was soaked especially around the neck area and my back. I could squeeze the sweat out my shirt and I have heavy eyes. Is this a common side effect from this medication? Thanks!

Ive been on Pantoloc for at least two years, and was on Prednisolon, and gained 22 lbs in 45 days. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.

How do you get pulmunary fibrosis?.

I'm currently taking Prednisone and this is my third and last time.

I've been a smoker for 20 years and I do suffer from Asthma but at times I get bronchitis.

For the past 3 weeks I've been very sick and the Doc gave me Asmatex which made me worse. Symbycort & Proventil works better.

I'm also trying to quit smoking and he prescribed me Bupropion XL 150 mg.

I know how you feel. I have been taking Prednisone on and off for two years. Put on 20kgs of weight and am told I can't stop medication abruptly.

I took prednisone for a few days, the doc oredered again and now, again for the last time.

Before he put me on Bupropion, but I had severe allergy reaction and had to quit taking it, now I'll have to find another way to quit smoking once and for all.

It's hard to quit, I smoke about two packs a day.

I'm 42 years old and I wonder if its to late to quit smoking now.

Oh well, we all going to die some day.

Last time it took deveral puff of Proventil to work and it was scarry.

Sleeping to me is a nightmare, because the wheezing sucks and I hate coughing without being able to spit anything out even when I can feel that mucus or something is there in the lung.

I think is the throat.

My other doctor told me I have chronic bronchitis, but when I went to the emergency they said it was acute bronchitis.

My new doc said neither, just asthma & quit smoking.

I smoked for 21 years.

i take prednisolone when my skin goes bad ,, i got eczema, , i do gain gain some weight, which is a good thing ,cuz weight 10stones n im 18, , ,
