Ruffy is an Akita/Border Collie mix we picked up at the pound 7 years ago when he was 7 months old. He took to herding and we found it to be an ideal form of training for him. Since then he's won several ribbons and titles herding ducks and sheep. Along with herding he's now working on becoming a therapy dog. Ruffysdad

Ruffy is Akita, Border Collie, and who knows - maybe some GSD? He's a rescue dog, so know one knows for sure. He's a hard-headed sweetie whose personality has been greatly enhanced by the joy of partnering with his owner on the task of herding.
