  • It sort of makes me sad to hear that Yes was gonna record a live album. They were abouy to sell tickets to the Verizon Amphitheater here in Atlanta when Jon got sick. Personally, and I don't know for certain, I think Yes had already signed some contracts in regards to the touring. Now, if a band does not fufill the ahreements to these contracts the financial ramications can be brutal. This may, or may not be how Yes ended up with a replacement singer. I just don't know what happened yet.

  • @chris72572, "Anderson& Wakeman are a great duo. Howe is still a great player;but he should just branch off and stick to a fulltime solo carreer. Yes just needs to end."

I much agree, unless they truly have something new and original to say - that they aren't just trying to make a living. However, as every poor man knows, there's much to be said for making a living. But Yes without Jon Anderson is like the Police without Sting - it's not even CLOSE to the edge, of what they were.

  • @Stevenana007 When you've accomplished in your life even 1% of what he has accomplished, then maybe you would realize how trivial your concern is.

  • Becoming haggard in old age, but who gives a shit. Still, he does look like someone set his head on fire and put it out with an axe...

  • Here's a man who represents the raw energy that's left in anyone who hasn't indulge in poisoning themselves with drugs and alcohol. He should be a true inspiration to all the losers who can't get over their freaking addictions and their childish state of mind.

Thank you, Mr. Howe, thank you so much!

  • you fags want to kiss Howe? whatever......i'll just love his guitar; who cares about his grill sheesh

  • @nebulabob It's all relative. Where Howe lives on the edge of chaos, Hackett sits back in a comfort zone. Not that he's not a great guitarist, but to me he's not even in the same league. But I guess it's all in what you like, or don't like. Hackett always kind of bored me, but that's just me. You keep Hackett, I'll keep Howe. As long as we both enjoy what we're listening to. My comment was kind of just a broad statement that talent has no bearing on how good you look.

  • @rodkiller11 Greatest Rock Guitarist of all time? I think thats pushing it a bit,he's good but he's no Steve Hackett.....now there is a great composer and musician.

  • The way they were. I had tix to this tour b4 Jon got ill.....
