good video. it's an interesting depiction. a dystopian future certainly seems plausible now. and the poor rich divide is getting ever larger.

funny. it's the east treating the west in the same way that west has viewed the east for decades.

Obviously not, but I think that it's fair to challenge satire for the rigor with which it extends our current sociopolitical circumstances. If the choice was intentional on the writer's part, it seems to affirm that the film depicts a "North America" that is replete only with debased white people, in order to serve an "east vs. west" false dichotomy . That said, I haven't yet seen the film, so it's possible that it's more nuanced than the trailer suggests.

Oh, so you totally missed the fact that it was a CHARACTER in the MOVIE making this claim? Or do you actually belive that any movie character automaticly has to know as much as the writer does? Like a medival knight knowing what an ipod is?

It's a role reversal scenario. The tables are turned and westerners have to do easterners' shit work instead of the other way around. The entire point is that it's a satire of the jobs Americans outsource overseas.
