Originally devloped for Michael Brecker, this is a Max/MSP patch that rotates among user selectable voicings. It generates amazingly complex harmony from relatively simple midi inputs.

The original idea came from an "open tuning" on the Oberheim Expander. The Max version allows you to store tunings as 'patches' that recall various styles of music. Here are three sketches in the style of Aaron Copland, Igor Stravinsky, and Joe Pass via Thelonius Monk (sort of).
