  • Bwhahahahha..was in elementary school when a lot of these movies came out...still love them and they left an impact. My fave has got to be "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" with Kim Darby. But there were a few more I can't remember the tittles to. One was with Barbera Stanwyck about some paranormal researchers in a haunted house...another was with Barbera Eden...her baby was from outerspace and had two hearts.....any answers

  • @wevetra13 The TV movie with Barbara Eden you're thinking of is "The Stranger Within" (1974), while the one with Barbara Stanwyck is "The House That Would Not Die" (1970)

  • Is that Janet Leigh at 0:45 ?

  • yes indeed, with George Maharis in "The Monk"

  • Wow my brain just had a whiff of the mall.

  • Movie of the Week, granted there were some that were more inventive than the theatrical offerings of that era....but I recall a lot of cornball bunk too, Ken Barry, David Hartman crap, where they would have to interact w/ a women who was their polar opposite (before they fell in love) under titles like "the Judge and the Hippie" ect.

  • Good find, with that "ABC Sunday Night Movie" graphic at the beginning. Now, I just can't wait to get the entire opening and bumpers, with music by Harry Betts.

  • I remember watching " The Ballad of Andy Crocker" starring Lee Majors as a Vietnam vet who has trouble adjusting to life at home.Marvin Gaye co-starred as a buddy of his whose life he saved. I thought it was pretty good. If only we could turn back the clock. Thanks for these promos.

  • Wow Wow! The clarity of the opening sequence is as good here as I've seen anywhere on youtube.

  • ddddd

  • The series aired on Tuesdays at 8:30pm(et), right after "THE MOD SQUAD". "Seven In Darkness" was the first of the series [9/23/69]. Some of the movies also doubled as pilots for potential series; ABC rejected "CORPORAL CROCKER", "THE OVER-THE-HILL GANG" (TWO of those were produced) and "THE MONK" as weekly series on its schedule.

  • @ScoutNJ, it's on "Robert's Hard To Find Movies" website.
