Open Track day with the Nor-Cal Shelby Club at Thunderhill in WIllows California in my 67 Fastback Mustang.
This is my first track day at Thunderhill with Michelin racing slicks. In the past I've always used the Hoosier DOT slicks. I've noticed the Michelin tires are almost "all or nothing" where the Hoosier tire is much more forgiving of traffic situations where I need to back off for a turn or two to pass someone safely. I might try a softer compound tire next time, and / or make some changes in the alignment of the car.
This video was filmed with a GoPro Hero HD camera.
Thanks for the video...great as always. That motor is hangin tough man. Mine just broke something. In the process of tear down.

I've never been let down viewing this persons posts. Always a superb posting of his Mustangs racing moments and a great escape for me from my mundane moments of life and reminds me of my '65 GT350 past days of ownership. Enjoy your ride.
