Final Fantasy 6 Hack: Barubary (BOF2)

This is a recreation of Breath of Fire 2's Barubary (Barbaroi) battle in the dinosaur forest in the World of Ruin.

This is for the SNES. Barbaroi uses a limited array of attacks in BOF2: Physical Attacks, FireBreath, Ice Breath, Bolt X (Mjollnir) and I believe Missile (Sirocco). Barbaroi often counters physical attacks with his hand wave attack, targetting the attacker.

Since I wanted to do a more challenging battle, Barbaroi will use similar attacks used in BOF2, but with some modifications:
Opening of Battle - Casts X-Zone, Fallen one and El Nino , in that order. This is to ensure only one party member survives (You can survive with high maical defense and the Paladin Shield.)

Random attacks - On every turn Barbaroi will attack twice; the first attack is physical, and the second is a random one:
Turn 1: FireBreath (Atomic Ray) or Ice Breath (Wave Cannon) or Wave Attack (Shrapnel)
Turn 2: Mjollnir (Phantasm with added damage and slow effect), Sirocco (Meteo with fire and wind damage) or Wave (Shrapnel)

Counterattack- Barbaroi counterattacks any kind of attack with 4 random attacks/spells:
Attack 1: Battle or Absolute Zero or Blaster
Attack 2: Battle or S.Cross or Blaze
Attack 3: Disaster or Sour Mouth or Dischord
Attack 4: Bio or Flare or holy

Final Attack - Figure it out! (hint: Barbaroi attacks 6 times before he finally dies: 3 physical attacks and 3 spells)

Also, could I please know what program you used to hack FF6? And if possible, what is the title of this Breath of Fire 2 song? :)

@HalDanGhor I used FF6usME (stands for Multiple Editor). There's a site dedicated to hacking FF6 in which you can find many hacking tools (FF6hacking).

The Breath of Fire song is Barubary's Theme (I believe it's called "A crisis"). I used camtasia to make it look like as if the song has been hacked into the game.

Damn....for something to encounter as much as it did....I would imagine the only way you could possibly kill this is with equipment strategy and let something attack once before reacting to the thing's counterattacks...

@EricB042389 Yeah, barubary counters almost half of all attacks.

The problem with this battle is that there's a 1/4 chance that he will counter attack with dischord, making the battle longer cause your stats are cut in half each time. And the effect is cumulative.
