Rick gets chucked off a cliff, unconscious, in AJ's hanglider, and AJ talks (shouts, rather) him down.

  • That was a good episode - with bonus Manolito Montoya! :) I wish they'd hurry up and release The High Chaparral on DVD, as well as Simon & Simon season two.

    *is impatient* ;)

  • ::joins you in the dance of impatience::

I fear it's been too long... i reckon they're not going to release the rest of S&S. Weep. :(

Never heard of High Chaparral on Montoya... must look into it! :)

  • It's great. :) Manolito is one of my favourite TV characters.

Have you noticed that a user here by the name of Orion1052003 has put up all the episodes of "Whiz Kids"? AJ Simon guests in episode three.

  • Ooh, i hadn't. I'll go check it out.

And thanks for mentioning Chapparal, it looks really good, and Mano looks very sweet! Although lord save me, because if i adopt yet *another* fandom i think i might asplode. :P

  • Weep not for season two just yet. Found out earlier today that all three seasons of Riptide are out on R1 DVD. Now fond as I am of Riptide, it's not half as popular as Simon & Simon - so if it can get three seasons released, the Simon boys must be in with a chance, surely?

  • Well, that's what you'd think - but an awful lot of shows i adore that have had huge fanbases, have been cut short of an entire series being released. It's made me quite the pessimist, lol! ::crosses fingers::

  • Rick's feet looks big when A.J. is dragging him out of the water.

  • Who knows. But that seemed to happen often in 80s shows so I don't know about that lol. Doesn't matter to me. Think thats probably just part of the charm of 80s shows.

  • Hehe, maybe the ep come in short and they had to look for scenes they could lengthen!

  • Notice how every time they cut to Rick he was suddenly back higher up in the air again, and AJ seemed to keep covering the exact same spot over and over. Something that should only take a matter of seconds ends up taking 5 mins. cause they keep stretching it out lol.

  • Heh, love these shows for those kind of hokey inconsistencies! Must hurry up and get my season two dvds...

  • Gotta love 80s show. One shot looks like he's way out in the ocean, next he's close to shore lol. I loved this show then and still do now. Got both of the first 2 seasons on DVD :)

  • Yeah they chop all kinds of things out of regular tv eps, so sad! Fingers crossed for season two. :D

  • I'm a Simon fan from way, way back, and I love them! I'm a member of Simon & Simon Home at Yahoo!. I can't wait until season 2 is released either. It'll be nice if they do release all the seasons, including the "unaired" stuff... I understand there were a few things that weren't shown on T.V. even in syndication.

    I'll talk to y'all later!
