From the aspects of the Belief there are no differences. There are two differences: First the difference, that from the point of Bektashis it is not necessary, that the religios leader is originated from Imam Ali. Second point ist sociologal, the Bektashis Worship-houses are mostly in the City and the Alevis are mostly in hardly reachable areas.

@cypriot1965 you can but u dont have to really just be a good person and lern morality,ethics science and art to be honest if you were alevi like me you will probs become, secular/athiest/agnostic because they teach you to question everything and dont believe everything which leads you to understand the main reasons for religion and its stupidity really by the way alevis are the ones who defend extremely secular values

Alevi follow a form of Sharia(Holy Law) like every other kind of Muslim. If Alevi come off as democratic and tolerant, then it is because they believe the Sharia commands it of them. :)

I'm Jewish and believe me, I can relate to most of the Alevi teachings. Actually, after watching this whole series I cannot really understand where does the hatred comes from.
