Niiiiice ring, but I have to say... It´s not a tutorial, it doesn´t even say the shortcuts used, the commands. Well, maybe a tutor for advanced users?
Tnx, anyway... -.-'

are you using 3ds max 2011 ?

You ass!
I didn't come here to watch you show off. I want to know what command that was to extrude the cross section in a circle like that.

Hi.
Can you tell, how did you do... ummm that "thing" at 2.01-2.04, when you took out that figure from ring body?
I tried Boolean Difference, but it didn't work. I finally got about same result after bunch of cutting and using Boolean, but your way looks much faster =)
Anyway, ty very much for video. I am only 3 days in Rhino and modeling and learned a lot from this vid. Very effective and easy concept.
(Wish I would be able to read you blog)

Hi, thanks for posting this, I understand it's NOT a tutorial, I just wanted to see a quick demo of what Rhino could do. I would like to design jewellery that has text - does anyone know if this is the best software to do text?

@theRIAA thank men!! ur a genious! wihuuu! :D

title doesnt say its a tutorial... though i wish it was. no sound, no real captions made this video kind of useless to watch.

This isn't a tutorial. This is just you showing off..

Surface > Offset surface (or Variable offset surface)
Transform > Cage editing > Cage edit
Amazing skill.
Apparently the author is Korean, which maybe explains why thins isn't a tutorial with detailed explations.

@altar7 Yes right, I can make step by step tutorial when I have free time but as you know it will takes much time. Well... this is not a tutorial video, I just wanted to show concept of the modeling method with surafce control point editing instead of wireframe drawing and surfacing.

I used E-map by Auxpecker for this shading.
