  • Come on, the song Key is define by the cords played in a progression, per example, if you are playing Bm, F#5, E5, Cmaj, the key is G major, and you don´t even play the G, if you are coming back to a cord a lot, obviously it´s going to sound good, but That doesn't mean THAT CORD ITS THE KEY.

  • hi youre a great teacher but can u please reply your message telling me a solo you invented i mean write the chords down or something please because it kinda hard for me tnx

  • You are a great teacher and very important to beginning students. Is there an easy way to find chord changes? I know all about the 1-4-5 thing but it doesn't seem to help much. Only on easy country songs.

  • @guitarfreak97825 Great! Thank's for taking so much time for explaining this stuff to me! Thanks dude :) I owe you a beer!

  • @Toca91

You know its a G scale (he didnt mention Gmaj or Gmin, but whatevar) because all the chords or notes that he plays are all in that G scale.

For example, in the little song he played in the vid, his chords were G, C and D.

    And in a Gmaj scale, the notes are G A B C D E F# G.

See, there is a C note and a D note in there too.

Of course he didnt have enough chords to prove that this was right for many other scales have G C and D in it but i hope that this helps.

Its in the key of "G".

The chord the song wants to resolve on is a "G". 3rd fret of the E is the "G" note, which is where the scale could possibly start. Im still learning but thats what I picked up from it.

  • here´s something that might be interesting, it comes with free soloing tracks and everything!
