Libertarian, economic analyst and veteran political commentator Lew Rockwell joins The Corbett Report to discuss the Obama Administration's economic policy, who is behind it, and how it is destroying America. We talk about solutions to the radical interventionism of Obama (and Bush and Clinton and Reagan...) including Ron Paul's efforts to expose and ultimately end the Federal Reserve. • @nuumskee All of that nonsense has been discredited, no one ever had any evidence Dr. Paul was aware of these stamements. It's a pathetic attempt to slander and discredit him, and apparently idiots like you will believe anything if it supports your dogma.

  • It's funny how the Marxists (and their bankster-supporters) who attempt to discredit Rockwell and Paul can only point to a few lines in a newsletter (or, in some cases, they simply make stuff up) that was printed decades ago, the worst of which even Farrakhan might not disagree with.

As the mainstream population is coming to realize, Lew Rockwell and Ron Paul speak for everyone.

  • "We have a dream," Rockwell wrote in that same January 1992 edition of RRR, "and perhaps someday it will come to pass. (Hell, if 'Dr.' King can have a dream, why can't we?) Our dream is that, one day, we Buchananites can present Mr. and Mrs. America, and all the liberal and conservative and centrist elites, with a dramatic choice....We can say: 'Look, gang: you have a choice, it's either Pat Buchanan or David Duke.'"

  • The letters published between Paul's first run for president and his return to Congress in 1996 are another story—replete with claims that Martin Luther King "seduced underage girls and boys," that black protesters should gather "at a food stamp bureau or a crack house" rather than the Statue of Liberty, and that AIDS sufferers "enjoy the attention and pity that comes with being sick."

  • Rockwell promoted a strategy of exploiting racial & class resentment 2 build a coalition wrote racially charged talking points in Pau’s newsletters a source close 2 Paul told Reason that Rockwell authored much of the content of the Political Report & Survival Report If Rockwell had any honor hed com out & I say I wrote this stuff The source who ax not 2 be named b/c Paul remains friendly with Rockwell & is reluctant 2 assign responsibility 4 the letters He should have done it 10 yrs ago

  • In 2008 libertarian publication Reason published a story discussing several racially charged articles that appeared in the Ron Paul newsletter. The Reason piece asserted that "a half-dozen longtime libertarian activists including some still close 2 Paul" had identified Rockwell as the "chief ghostwriter" of the Ron Paul newsletters published from "roughly 1989 to 1994."Rockwell has denied responsibility reason . com / archives / 2008/01/16/who-wrote-ron-pauls-newsletter

  • If any of these people ever had to actually work for a living they wouldn't last a week. I don't care what school of economics you think is best big money ALWAYS corrupts.

  • @AtlasShruggery :

I don't buy it. He was warning about bubbles and breakdown for a long while.

  • Sorry to hear about your Cancer. I am just curious if you have only tried western medicine, all their radiation techniques and what not, or if you have ever even looked into a more natural way of treating yourself via the foods you eat etc. I am only curious, especially during this time of healthcare debates and all that is going on in our society etc. I wish you the best with your health either way.

  • Superb interview.
