The Laura Ingraham Show - Sen. John Cornyn talks Rick Perry and Paul Ryan

Today on the Laura Ingraham Show, Texas Senator John Cornyn talked with Laura about Rick Perry entering the race, why Cornyn may not be Perry's most enthusiastic supporter, and why Cornyn would like Paul Ryan to jump in the race.

Cornyn on Perry:

2:29 "I like Rick Perry, I think he has a successful story to tell, and Texas has done better than the rest of the country and it's not by accident. "

Ingraham -- "You don't sound that enthused, Senator, I am just hearing you, you don't sound enthused. You just sound, well I like Rick Perry, we have had a pretty good...I mean it's your state, your state is humming. I mean he is the governor of the state, you don't sound very excited about him."

Cornyn-"He is entitled to some credit, but not alone. There are other people who have been very instrumental in directing our state in the proper direction, George W. Bush, the Texas legislature, all of our elected leadership here."

On Obama's Bus Trip:

@4:21 "I wish he would spend a little bit more time not on his Darth Vader bus in Illinois, but in Texas and other parts around the country to get back in touch with the people because he is clearly living in a bubble."

@7:32 "Would you like to see someone else jump into this presidential race on the GOP side? Anyone else strike your fancy?"

"Well I like a lot of the names that are being mentioned. Chris Christie, Paul Ryan."

@7:59 "Have you talked to Paul? Have you talked to Paul about trying to get into the race?"

"You know I have not. I tried to get him to run for the Senate, not president, but he is one of our stars, he would be great."

Laura Ingraham always sounds like a bitter bitch on her radio show. I cannot believe people actually listen to her... she is so annoying! She is totally living in her own little bubble. The fact that she has a popular radio show just shows you how many hicks out in the sticks there are in this country, and that they'll buy into anything.

I dont' think Rick Perrry will be different from Obama except the fact Perry knows better than Obama in governing. Perry allowed in-state tuition for illegal aiens and for amnesty. How would Perry be different from Obama?
