The Science Museum in London presents Hubble 3D on IMAX, showing now.

Through the power of IMAX 3D, the film will enable movie-goers to journey through distant galaxies to explore the grandeur and mysteries of our celestial surroundings, and accompany space-walking astronauts as they attempt the most difficult and important tasks in NASA's history. The film will offer an inspiring and unique look into the Hubble Space Telescope's legacy and highlight its profound impact on the way we view the universe and ourselves.
The IMAX 3D camera flew onboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis last May and captured stunning 3D images of the intricate spacewalks required to service the telescope. The footage, shot by the STS-125 astronauts, will be included in the film and will put IMAX audiences right there alongside the spacewalking astronauts. The film will also feature never-before-seen 3D flights through awe-inspiring Hubble imagery, providing a first-person journey to the far reaches of our universe.
Hubble 3D is an IMAX and Warner Bros. Pictures production, in cooperation with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The film reunites the Space Station 3D filmmaking team, led by producer/director Toni Myers. James Neihouse, director of photography, also doubles as the astronaut crew trainer. Judy Carroll is associate producer, and Graeme Ferguson, co-founder of IMAX and pioneer producer of many IMAX space films, is executive producer.
@thewatcher2970 I agree wholeheartedly, we should most definitely pursue the tough questions and learn as much as possible. My contention isn't that we stop seeking but that we don't simply accept a notion as a means to fill in ignorance about it. Regarding happiness, you are actually wrong. Neuroscience is making incredibly strides in learning how our brains work and what stimulates emotions. We are learning how certain behaviors stimulate chemical creation which lead to stress or euphoria.

@PositiveShift ...Okay. My challenge is not wholly achievable at this time, but it IS pursuable. Knowing what we do about the universe NOW...how & why does matter function on many levels as it does & govern itself without any "rules" or someone to guide it? Gravity, light, electromagnetism, dark matter, black holes, intergalactic spectacles...all known to us now...discounting former "reliable" answers given by learned men years ago. Science still can't give me a formula for happiness though.

Put another way, if I want to learn about medicine, I know to go to a doctor, if I want to learn about my car, i will go to a mechanic, if I need advise on my budget I will go to a financial planner. If I want to learn about what Moses wrote about I will go to a Jewish Rabbi, or what Paul was writing about i will go to a christian theologian. But if I want to learn about biology, I will go to a biologist, not a preacher.

@thewatcher2970 Thanks for your reply watcher. Of course your challenge is currently not achievable, we currently don't have ALL the answers to how and why the laws of the universe operate as they do. I am more than happy to admit that. So I am left with choosing a path that is most likely to lead me to truth and answers that are reliable. Clearly Science has the better record of providing reliable answers than the a book written 2000+ years ago does. Which was the original point.

@Aneron88 ...too late. You are being very foolish and insulting towards all persons who choose to believe in a religion or faith..by insinuating they are not intelligent and that atheists are, simply because they reject any notion of a supreme being. That blade cuts both ways, so choose your words more carefully. It would do no harm for you to try and grasp the concept of something that exists even if you cannot see it. Dark matter, for example. Chew on that a while.

@PositiveShift ....I think you are being argumentative and oversimplifying the entire history of man just a teeny bit. how do you build your opinions? I challenge you to explain how and why the laws of the universe operate as they do, based upon your own science...or lack thereof. There simply are things that we as humans do not and cannot know at this time and stage in our own development. we are mere children trying to explain away the universe, to suit our own limited vision and wisdom.

@Aneron88 steady on...you're not winning anyone over by shouting your belief at the top of your lungs. Some people cannot be reasoned with when it comes to faith. They have none, therefore they mock others who do. Save your breath. I am a believer too. I understand science as we know it. I also know in myself that God exists, created man, all life on the earth, the stars, planets, galaxies and universe. God is the greatest scientist and a loving Father. He allows us to choose what to believe.

@tgillspy1 Just to be clear, you want me to believe a book written by nomadic tribesmen 2000-3000 years ago who thought that epilepsy was demon possession and that the best way to tell if your wife was cheating on you was to poison her with dirt from a place where animal sacrifices were made continually and see if she died. And that I should disregard hundreds of thousands of highly educated scientists who have been studying biology/paleontology/archeology/genetics/geology and medicine?

@tgillspy1 please tell me that you are being sarcastic! because the universe was created by the mighty Flying Spaghetti, i also have a fairytale book written by men to prove that! ow and i also think that my god can kick your god ass, so how about we leave it reason, empirical evidences, and logical thinking and make a "holy war"??? lol!
