This is really fine fiddling! They're keeping it simple but responding well to the people around them, adding tiny little changes for variety. The banjo just struts along and the guitar bass runs move things ahead without too much of a distracting punch. Albany area of New York always seems to be the place to hear this fine subtle but passionate music, no matter what the style!

Love the driving rhythm! Am I right in thinking that this is kind of wild west cowboy type fiddling? Reminds me of the early Skip Gorman album " Powder River".
