I so endorse your review VelvetGal5. It had everything you said: action, friendship, teamwork, and emotional moments. It showed the loving brotherhood shared between Kirk and Spock in spite being total opposites. It also displayed those common moral dilemmas that are often in contrast of doing the logical thing that original series often demonstrated. I felt that I was watching a young Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner. I also believe that casting Pine was the perfect choice for Kirk.

Lydia, I love this "Star Trek: Into Darkness" film so much. This film had it all - action, friendship, teamwork, emotional moments, etc. Not one single boring moment at all in this film. This film was so thrilling & fun. I honestly never wanted this film to end, & I don't say that often about many films. This film makes you think but also stimulates your eyes & mind with action & emotions. It's a well-made, smart film with a great cast & director.
