Some step up exercises would be a good I dea and if your training ground is flat try a backpack with some weight I did the C2C in 2008 and the climbs are very tough yo uned to have good strenght in the legs good luck I'm doin git againi in 2012

i did the walk aged 14 in 1992, and did 145 miles of it last year, want to do it again, it was great fun, thanks for rekindling old memories

Wonderful video! I'm scheduled to do an escorted C2C next June. I already do 6 hours/week on the elliptical machine, and 6 hours a week weightlifting. Could you suggest other things to do to prepare? (There are no hills nearby: any walking would be on flat land). Thanks!

Be prepared for steep climbs and descents on some of the walk.
