I would agree, but the COD4 engine is amazing as well. I could almost max that game out at 1024x768 on an x1400.

its the source engine. it takes better advantage of your processing cores and how it renders the textures and lighting.

What I don't get is that Half life 2 runs so much more smoothly and faster than Halo 2 and HL2 has better physics, graphics, gameplay, etc.

i played through ep2 on a 6600 lol.
