@gfemg The volt is not pure electric dumbass. Also, batteries are an inefficient way to store energy. I'll wait until I can get an electric car that uses super capacitors that NEVER wear out and recharge in mere minutes before I go from the convenience of gas to electric.

@ra5928 yes i knew it takes gas its a hybrid thats not the matter i was talking about idk why i even try to start a conversation on a subject i mean all the people have read like my last comment and assume from there i worked on this car i know how they work they can catch on fire like any other car it works like any other hybrid but my subject was on 100% electricity motors and how they gonna stay, chevys crap there to far behind and they always end up in my shop so @ra5928 im done!

@osborneproductions You do realize, you can go 10,000 miles without recharging in the Volt, right? It also runs on gas. Shhhhh, don't tell anyone. Per the manual, you can disconnect the charger even when not fully charged. As many times as needed. You do know how to read, right?
