Not really only certain ppl from the south was making good music basically ppl who existed during the 90's everybody else that came out after 2000 was whack from the south and they did ruin hip hop! Eastside boyz, Jeezy, souljah boy, slim thug, mike jones, TI, Scrappy, david banner, bone crusher, lil flip, franchise boyz, and the rest of dem niggaz that make shit only for the clubs and have no substance in the lyrics!

@atl2maryland U are SO SO SO RIGHT. ppl blaming the South, when music was fallin in 1997 Shiny Suit Era(Diddy and NY), then X and Jay pick it back up, then it fell again in 2002 after the JayZ/Nas battle. So the South picked it up. Outkast, Lil Jon, T.I., Luda, Bun, Little Brother, 8Ball and MJG, Face Mob, Trick Daddy were putting out good music.
