obviously he's not sight reading...he is using the score to remember the order of all those variations hes got floating around in his head.

Memorize the piece, it's better.... and a little more of musicality... good tecnique. Congratulations. And why like response of Kempf, you aren't comparing with him? If it is for see your video it's ok, but if not....

i never understood why people use sheet music when performing... like if u havent memorized it then you shouldnt be performing it... i dunno i cant even read music that fast anyway.
