The US president has also expressed his confidence in staff hired to tackle the recession, particularly Timothy Geithner, the treasury secretary.

  • It's going to be a feral world.

  • Obama - charismatic but incompetent.

  • p.s. how do you figure the Fed reserve isn't regulated?

  • Obama's mantra- Print baby print!

  • damnation- the inflation we'll see after all this will blow your mind. as far as the Pres being "not bad at his job" ... To Be Determined

  • Well, the market has been jumping up and down for months, and even though I've been completely anti-bush since before the supreme court handed him the 2000 election, I don't blame him for it either. Inflation has been out of control for a long time because the Federal Reserve isn't regulated, not because the president is bad at his job.

  • shut the fuck up you idiot

no one listens to your anti-Semetic rhetoric

  • bbnemesis- blame woodrow wilson for this. I agree- take it back from the Fed's- too bad that's not the trend these days. we're screwed.

  • when he speaks he reminds me of a precaher at his pulpit on Sunday morning.. that is as long as he has his teleprompter. Otherwise it's dribble.

  • damnation- the quetion isn't how much times has he had to fix it ...it's how much time has he had to make this situation worse. the mkt certainly doesn't care for his admin so far (complete lack of confidence on wall street) and we are headed for inflation that will blow your mind once this recession is over
