  • How much cruise is lost, if any?

  • No cruise speed was lost. The plane makes above book speed without wheel pants.

  • This guy is an amazing pilot!!

  • @benjammin8458 Im doing the very same mods to my 182.

What is your stall speed with these mods.

  • wITH a 210hp engine, I guess so you can t/o relatively short

  • the one at 45 kts was the best

just add little bit of power right before touching down and they will be short and SOFT which is good for the plane too

  • Owned a 1977 172XP that was very close in performance to what you are getting. Aside from from the norton stol kit it was stock 195 hp XP with a135kt in cruise. The one advantage the older models had were 40 degree flaps, just had to keep the power in.

  • Wow, good choice of mods! Astonishing performance.

  • What beautiful country. Mountain flying must be challenging with the clouds.

Lots of power in that XP!

  • I agree :)

  • Very nice video, that was a very short takeoff distance compared to stock!
