Your cat looks exactly like mine. Is it a Bombay? Mine will eat just about anything. Literally. Fruit and veggies. We have to hide things. He learned how to open the bread box and carry the bread into his room and pig out. I had a small pot pie cooling on the stove once. I heard a noise and checked to see what it was, there he was with my pie on the floor.

One of my 4 cats likes cucumbers, I never would have guessed but I brought one home from work and left it on the counter, next day it was on the floor with chunks missing. Some of it might be texture but it must also be the taste because it is the only veggie he messes with.

Cats do eat grass, and you're supposed to give house cats some fiber if they're not getting it from the dry food, etc. My cat loved steamed carrots and zucchini as a kitten, but that doesn't mean he didn't need the meat. @Sebyro, when I give my cat cucumber, I slice it up, then peel the slices, and cut each into 3 sections cake-wise. I think the peel may cause indigestion, and I slice because my kitty's just spoilt 3-) Good on you for being open-minded about cat nutrition ;-)
Thumbs up if you think that is SO CUTE

Cats can<t make the difference between green and red, cause the only have two types of cone cells, and their tongue cant taste sweetness. Vegetable eating cats might just like the texture instinctively cause it remind them of flesh, and they cant see the difference in color or sweetness. Also they probably didn<t learn where meat comes from, so they like melon and cucumber because it tickles their instinct
