Remember the Serbian Generation 1989 to 1998. They won all 4 consecutive european championships (except for 1993 when we were banned for war and didn't attend), all 3 world golds(1994 not, banned) and 1 unfair Olympic silver medal( 1992 banned 'cos war). So from 8 international championships this generation won 7. And it was in middle of wars with Bosnia and Croatia. There would be 3 more golds if USA didn't ban us from entering. That is the best generation of all time - 7/8!!!!!!!!!!

serbia as best basketball country ever (41 medals compared to 12 spanish xDDD and 26 american) and had 5 gold medals in world championship(Spain 1 and USA 3) deserved this silver medal even with 22 year old team. As for this being best european generation ever is a pure bul*s*hit. From 1973 to 1980 serbia(as yugoslavia) won all 3 european one world and one olympic gold. Other world was silver and other olympic was silver.

if tou ask me, i think it was about time for serbia to return to the top positions and for for spain to finally reach the top of europe cause they deserve it. as for us (the Greeks I mean) bronze medal was undoubtfuly a success considring the players that couldn;t make it to the eurobasket. So... congratulations to all see you in Turkey. Enjoy the game
