@AlcoholicSemenStain KFC is a franchisee operated fast food enterprise. I read that someone did a test on some secret-herb mix from a KFC, and the ingredients were sugar, flour, salt, pepper, and MSG. Sanders sold the fast food chain in the 60s. It's possible that the '11 secret herbs and spices' used at many KFCs are less than 11, in order to save costs.

I have also seen a comment which said the original recipe had ginger. I would not have suspected ginger.
