  • lol i like that.....

  • lol yeah they are kinda corny, always seems like they want you to shift at way lower rpm's then what it really needs to, always seems like under normal driving mine came on between 1500-2000 lol, even if you were only doing 35 in 3rd or 4th it would pop on....

  • lol that's a good one man, Built in GPS, neva heard that one before lol, but ya its the i-6 man....

  • lol maybe you dont know where the check engine light is at on a jeep man, lol thats called the shift up light lol notice an arrow not an engine lighting up.....

  • @bigredrover2005 its because if you keep the rpm's down you will save gas. so it comes on every chance the engine has to save gas. but anyway i drive just like you in my wrangler LOL

  • @Chrismeister100 Normal driving, about 3k

  • @traxxas1234567890 Most people are lazy and can't drive stick. Manual transmissions are hard to break (unless you're pushing too much power through them) and generally provide better acceleration and fuel economy. People don't like them because when you can't drive stick you tend to ride the clutch and go through them like they're made of paper.

  • @traxxas1234567890

well maybe if ya live in stop and go traffic, congested cities, etc. but over all manual trannies last longer than autos, not as many rebuilds if any are required on most manuals. maybe you dont like stick cuz u spent too much money on clutches???

  • @TheJeepWheeler yes it is and most people think so

  • @traxxas1234567890

    haha no its not

  • automatic is better

  • normal i shift at 1800-2000, pulling out on a highway 2300. i get 18mpg in town with 33s, im gonna get some locking hubs and 3.73s and i should be around 20mpg. and trust me you won't blow that motor up. as long as your cooling system is working fine and you've got good oil you can give that 4.0 hell.

  • i usually shift around 2500-3200 on normal conditions, but then when i go and play like i am here i red line i sometimes.... I just let mine see all broad ranges of rpm's and it hasnt hurt it yet..

  • You should bring it that high every once in a while. By babying it your actually doing more harm. Carbon builds up in the cyl when you drive it too easily.
