  • Oh yea, glee sucks! Hahaha

  • My mom took me to this movie when it first came out, I was 5 years old, it stuck with me for my next 50 years, I dont know what it was about it, but it was like a peak experience that forever is burned deeply within my soul. I never would ever watch it again, so I wouldn't spoil that forever moment.... and believe me in the 70's it was rock & roll, drugs, jails, prison and the madness of addictions that still haunts me now. But I still got that movie, just me and my mom.

  • Maria's voice is so amazing!

  • @transitive1 yeah I feel like there could have been so much more emotion in this song too if she would have sang it herself. But I also get that they would choose for a professional.

  • "A boy like dat, who keell your braaather."

  • Anyone else find it a bit insensitive that, when Anita's boyfriend has just been killed, Maria is singing "I have a love!" loudly in her face?

  • Although I know the vocal is technically better with a pro singer, I feel really bad that Rita didn't get to use HER voice for the song. It seems like the emotion she would've put into it would've been more real.

  • "you should know better" phhh look who talking

  • I love this song<3

  • @RoseMckenzieKimball Are you aware that

    1 Glee is auto-tuned

2 The Glee version is transposed down a key

3 In the Glee track Lea audibly struggles to hit one of the final notes in their version even though it had already been transposed down. Finally on Glee they decided to sacrifice diction for the sake of better singing and the film version focuses more on the diction. You can think Glee's vocals are better but it's not a fair comparison.
