I love the song where she breaks off to speak with a kindly hotel clerk and does this wonderfully goofy awkwardly nervous bit when the clerk asks if she's married to her male companion then gives the little guy a huge smile when he smiles back and says "Ah...Nearly married..." What a sweet lady...What a loss that she was rejected for so long in the US; she should have been one of our greatest film stars.

Is the audio on a higher speed? Because, if not, her voice really was squeaky in the beginning. I'm glad it evened out eventually.

No, that's how she sounded back in the 20's. She didn't become the great power house singer til the 50's!
