Beretta M9 and Kimber SIS Pro Grips and Recoil Spring Range Test - FateofDestinee

Recently, I replaced the grips on my Beretta M9 with a Hogue wrap-around and the grips on my Kimber SIS Pro 1911 with diamond checkered cocobolo wood grips. I also replaced the recoil spring on the Kimber with a Wolff XP spring for 4" barrel 1911s. I'm hoping that these upgrades will increase the performance of both weapons. Plus, I can always use a good excuse to go visit my local firing range. In this video, I'm shooting 9mm Luger 115gr rounds through the Beretta M9 and .45 ACP 230gr rounds through the Kimber 1911. I'm pleased to report not a single error or stovepiping with either weapon. I think replacing that recoil spring was the real problem with the Kimber because I used both my magazines, that is, the magazine that I received when I purchased the Kimber used, and the replacement magazine I purchased new, and both performed great.

Destinee, good shooting. I think you should try to shoot at 7 yards until you become really proficient and then increase distance to target.

Hogue is awsome!.. I have them on my AR, .357, & baby eagle.. Love them..

Almost sold my 92fs but.. I think you just changed my mind, they look great on it. (Pachmayr is what I bought for the 92=mistake)
