A clip of the "call to prayer" being broadcast from mosques in Marrakesh, Morocco. At first, the calls are quiet. You can hear calls coming from several mosques around the city simultaneously while birds sing and I pan around to show rooftops of the city.
Stick with the video until 30 secs in, when the massive Koutoubia Mosque starts calling much louder than the others (that's the pretty minaret visible in the video).
This video was taken from the rooftop of our hotel just minutes after our arrival. For foreigners like us, it was quite an amazing thing to witness.
The call to prayer is sung five times a day, when Muslims should briefly stop to pray from wherever they are.

Its, in a way, beautiful...its like at one moment..the entire city is synchronized.
Hahahaha, i remember when i first herd it i thought it was some sort of air raid warning XD!
