@unikad - the foundation of aikido, according to the guy who invented (he would say discovered) it, believe it or not, is love. Check out "the Art of Peace" by Morihei Ueshiba (sp?) which you can find online. I catch shit from macho "fighters" everytime I comment on aikido. Look for instructional vids by Koichi Tohei, who was Ueshiba's foremost student. The real thing is more like a dance. The true aikido student is not out to destroy anyone.
