Starts from 1000 feet.

You can catch a glimpse of the windsock at 1:42 (right side of the runway)

P/S : Sorry, I made the annotations too small....you have to go full screen to see it.

  • Nice video Capt. But I have one quick question. So you make the aircraft crab? I always thought the aircraft would crab because of the strong winds. Once again great video

  • @RLM7237

Well, the aircraft would not automatically crab, if that's what you mean. You have to point the nose into the wind to hold off the drift.

  • what airport is this?

  • nice landing, I was wondering when you can use the rudder during a crosswind approach?

  • @chamilitary999

You don't need to use it if you are crabbed into the wind during the approach.

  • @airtimbuktu Oh!!! thanks for the help

  • Nicely done commander - I like this view, with a bit of the nose showing. Gives it some perspective.

  • Very smooth, impressive with this crosswind!! Cheers

  • @wongchungui88

Yes, it's all ailerons. Yes, we only use rudders during de-crab, and engine failures.. ;P

  • @MacartoChan
