I just dont like seperatist attitudes. If I had it my way Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Barbados and South Africa would still be part of Great Britian...
but thats just delousional...so I dont think about it much. damn statute of Westminster 1931..what a year that was. Beginning of the end

@alikos88 So you think the SAS (formed by a scot),and two Regiments are enough to suggest that Scotland were the major driving force to pushing Great Britain into a super power, Well thats just stupid,yes the two regiments helped to win many battles.but if thats all your argument comes to then its a poor one. p.s.(I did not say that Scotland did not play a part in Helping Great britain become a super power did I)

@Jss1886 That would certainly be true if English such as you were subsidising Scotland however you nor anyone else subsidises Scotland,she produces more oil than Kuwait the problem with many English people is that they conveniently forget that there is not an English treasury rather it is a British treasury and all revenues raised within the UK are distributed from London ,if Scotland left the UK all resources and revenues raised in Scotland would remain in Scotland.For a comparison try Norway.

On a point of interest if Scotland does leave the UK she will off course take with her the oil fields of the North sea and the other natural resources which make her an exporter of energy in fact potentially a very wealthy small nation.

Although Britannia no longer literally rules the waves, she spawned English-speaking democracies in nations representing nearly half the population of the world.
