I doub't it. I own one, and have drive a couple of them. They can really perform!(Especially the later ones wich had a more responsive transmission.)

Are you sure your speedometer is accurate? My 280e reads about 10km/h faster up to about 100km/h then goes up to 20km/h above that (I've only tested to 130 or so...) :P

@3DPeter no, but i love the heavy never ending acceleration from the 2,4 liter diesel 4! might not be fast like this, but you definetly feel it, on 4th gear from 70km/h-110km/h same pressure!
