My first car, same year, same body, same color! I miss it! Mine was identical except 4-speed with 2.73:1 rear gears. I love the car except hood pins are silly and those 1987ish tail lights don't belong. Keep it alive!

@zapwatt i know...but there is not hood latch on the car at all anymore...but i have a 79 cobra hood scoop so if i find another hood i will be takin them off.....and those taillights arent on there any more i got a pair of 83-86 lights they look muuuuch better i just cant stand the 79-82 ones and mine is a 4 speed it had those gears but i got an 8.8 rear w/ 3.73s

My first car was an 87 2.3 notchback. bought it in 1994, still have it, still looks great and runs great, i dont drive it much now like i did, but in all those years it never gave me any trouble. I trust it more than any of the new cars i have. a few months ago i found a 2003 mustang v 6 i wanted, i was gonna trade the old 87 in on it, the dealer made a good offer but at the last minute i just didnt have the heart to trade it, i bought the 2003 and kept my 87 too, 80s mustangs were great cars

@myleskubicek LOL ok dude.....yeah that mustang wasnt my first choice i was lookin to buy a 71 nova but the mustang was alot cheaper and in better shape than idk i got into mustangs id still sell the damn car in a heart beat for a chevelle/malibu or some kind of mopar and teh only mustangs i do hate are hatchbacks cant stand them and the later 80s stangs i.e. non"foureyes"

that mustang wich was a daily driver now in pieces and a 23 t bucket w/ a chevy smallblock and an 84 f1450.....camaros i dont care for my little sis has a 92 anniversary...but ok i wanna see that javelin(i love em) but still wtf man i gotta alot of heart into that car so chill with the gay shit
