This lesson teaches you how to speak "Do you speak Mandarin or Cantonese" in Chinese. I have taken away the writing part of sentence, and I would like to ask for your opinion whether I should keep the writing part :) have fun watching it and master the sentence!

    那 个 日 落 很 漂 亮

    nà gè rì luò hĕn piào liàng

    那个(nà gè) = That 日落(rì luò) = Sunset

    很漂亮(hĕn piào liàng)= is very beautiful

  • @TornadoFlash thanks for translating mate.

  • @TheCuppycakedelight5 ^_^ hi, this is a beautiful request. I will add it into my course to make and create it soon. Cheers!

  • Dear Len,

    we would like to learn how to compare in Chinese.

    Big, bigger, the biggest or

    Expensive, more expensive, the most expensive.

    That would be useful.

    Your videos are so very helpful.

    Sorry for all the other good ones but I need to say that your chinese videos are simply the best on youtube.

  • @AfricanLionsHunter :D thanks a lot. I will add your requests into my list of lessons to make as well. Also many things that are requested will be taught in my formal course coming in 2 weeks time. Cheers! ^_^

    大 = big 很大 = very big 最大 = biggest

    大 = big  比较大 = bigger 最大 = biggest

    as u can see, 大(dà) Means big. so just add... 很(hĕn) = Very, 比较(bì jiào) = More(as in quantity), 最 (zuì) = Most

    that doesnt apply to all though..

    by the way, expensive is 贵(guì)
